The Limited Edition #5 Jersey celebrates 20 years since the birth of this cool little company in the sport of Triathlon. De Soto has been one of the most innovative, progressive, and defining triathlon companies ever to exist. Yet we remain a small business and it has stayed this way for a couple of reasons; so that our customers feel like the own something special that not everyone else has, and so that we can take better care of our customers.

Legendary Jazz musician, Miles Davis, named his 1957 compilation album "Birth of the Cool." The album consisted of arrangements that were so innovative, so progressive and so defining, that to this day it is considered one of the most influential jazz albums of all time. Not known by many unless they are really into jazz, De Soto is not known by many unless they are really into triathlon. We like it this way and we hope you do too. We have never want to be the biggest, just the coolest.
